I agree with both of you on that. The firm I work for it's like 80% Indian in my engineering dept - I wish those jobs were going to Americans instead. I don't really follow immigration stuff closely but when I first started in IT 20 years ago, there were some Indians but it was mostly non-Indian Asians like Chinese. Then at some point it started to shift away from that trend, I never knew why. Now it's mostly Indians, I'd say exclusively in large U.S corp. from my experience.

Americans dont even want to go to school for IT anymore. At least that is one good stereotype about Indians, they all know computers.

The big deal is that it stops NATO and its expansion policies to isolate Russia... It seems it is the US Government that has kept the cold war alive...

Yes, it is. Luckily, they are some acceptable substitutes out there, if you look for them. Amazing what you can do with cauliflower and almond flour, for example.

The biggest knock I have with some of these workers from India is that they cheat to get over here.

On more than one occasion I have interviewed someone on the phone from a contract company and they ace it. Then when we bring them in for a face to face they catch the dumb.It turns out tthey have like a professional interviewer friend that stands in for them. Last year we had a guy, I chit you not, come in for a second interview and he was the same guy who interviewed on the phone but after getting hired they sent a total different guy in. He lasted all but a day lol. I'm like who the f are you I call tell yall apart lol

Also its my understanding, and maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but many of these tech workers do not have a well rounded education. So if you go to school for engineering that's all you do, no electives or extra curriculum. I don't think that is always good.

I want my friends to be educationally well rounded, as for my dentist, I couldn't care less.
