2nd medical exam St. Luke's

Hello,

My fiancee is about to finish up her 6month TB treatment at St. Luke. As I understand I also need to pay for a second medical examination. For the second medical exam will they do a lung xray and culture again for two months? I'm trying to get good grasp on an idea where I can go and visit her for the interview.

Hi, Ajvitan! Yes, you need to pay the medical fee again when she comes back for re-medical. She will repeat all the tests except Xray. No sputum test anymore. A day before her last medication, she will be asked to have her chest/lung xray done and will be interpreted by a pulmo doctor on the second day.

It is possible you will have to update your support documentation as the interview will be after 15 April, the embassy asks for the most recent tax return and W-2
