Hello everyone,

I filed I-130 for my wife and have PD Sep-26-2013 and I'm permanent resident.

I received NOA1&2 and I got Case# and IIN but no further processing is available for me.

I heard that VB will not move or I don't know when is going to move. I'm from Egypt and she too

I've a question:

Can my wife apply to a tourist visa and come to visit me for 2-3 months then will be back until our case start?

Can she get the visa or they will not give it to her?

How much the chance to get tourist visa for our case?

Please help me,

Thanks everyone.

Thank you my friend.

I don't know what is the reason for that?

Why it's against policy?

I already filed for my wife and we are waiting our PD to be current, so what is the problem for them to deny the tourist visa as long as they are sure she will be back because our case. She will not break the visa or something like that and they know that for sure.

And thank you again for your respond

There are people who filed for a tourist visa after an f2a approval and got a tourist visa. This is because it's a strong tie that the person filed will definitely go back to her country because the f2a process will take place there.
