Make 'em their favourite dish which includes pork chops for their birthday.

(I'm a vegetarian who HATES the smell of meat, cooked or otherwise. I suppose this is more of an inside joke post :P)

Happy birfday to my shmoopy. :luv:

How do you know you truly love someone? ........

Spend a zillion dollars to get him to be with you, wait years for bureaucratic BS paperwork to be filed, spend every waking moment on Skype, loose sleep over silly details like is my head too big in the passport photo, endure constant weird and thoughtless comments from people who hear you met on the Internet......

Oh - I'm sorry, you meant making pork chops!! Yes, you are totally right. In the end, those little things are really the biggest ones of all aren't they?

That is very sweet!! And please don't mind my sassyness - it just gets all riled up sometimes. hehehe

Happy Birthday to your sweetheart!

I have tried to recreate Poutine for my husband. He loves it and I think it was a success (two helpings is a good indicator, eh?) Also, I've been looking for a recipe for Rappie Pie, another traditional French Acadian dish from home. The good thing is, I love these two dishes too.
