OMG, my kids and I love that ride. Is it ok for Muslims to admit that? Or am I committing a major faux pas, like when we had the horrible audacity to have Eid on 9/11 a few years back? Freaking eggshells I'm walking on here.

Since you put it out there, perhaps you can explain why you chose to have Eid on 9/11?

Truly it would be innocuous if the hearts of those celebrating are pure and free of malice toward the 911 victims.

Whenever Ramadan ends, it's a time for celebration and reflection. It has nothing to do with 9/11 or the victims. The day changes every year, and if it fell on THAT day, no worries.
