If I had to pick, I'd go with Danno on this one. The solar panel thread in which he ties to black people was truly priceless.

Muslims in the US by and large are either black nationalist types or non-white non-xtian, non-english speaking as a first language immigrants.

'Regular folk' are white people who go to church and live in the heartland.

It might be nice, but it just ain't gonna happen. I know there are plenty of regular Muslim folk, but it's those non-regular Muslim folk that are screwing that series from having even a spark of success.

It's funny. We have more folks killed by guns than we do by terrorism, yet it's easier to paint a picture of a law abiding citizen with an arsenal in their basement, rather than a Muslim who just exists outside of the radical mold.

I'd say the worship of guns is a problem. Folks talk about how bad Islam is, I'm more concerned with those who worship a piece of metal to the point of they can't use a bathroom inside of their home without it strapped to their hip. Or the completely delusional notion of driving through the most dangerous part of town just because you think you're Teflon when you're packing some heat.

Lots of good Muslims out there. I hired a young engineer from Pakistan to work for me in China. He was brilliant beyond his years, but very devout about his religion. He was always happy to speak with me when I asked questions as I was quite ignorant about holidays, eating and living habits. He had an arranged marriage and never met his wife until the wedding day. I asked how that was working out for him, and he assured me that they only had the deepest love and respect for one another. He had his first and second baby before I left China, a girl then boy. They both had amazing large deep pool eyes of which the whole world seemed to live.

A couple of years ago was the 50th anniversary of the US landing on the moon. As we shared the same working area I commented on it to him. I was not prepared for his reply. He completely and utterly denied it ever happened. It is his view that it was completely manufactured by the US government, and not only that but so was 911. I was simply perplexed and only asked questions, but did make one statement as I know as an engineer he would have to think about it. I asked, "Just exactly how did that retro-reflector get on the surface of the moon if no-one ever landed there?"
