Hi Everyone,

Need advice. I am a permanent resident of the USA (I'm married to an American) and a Filipino citizen so my passport is still a Philippine passport. I am currently on vacation in the Philippines, been here since February 28, 2014. My question is in flying back to the US, would I encounter trouble because my Philippine passport has a "Maria" in my first name and my green card doesn't? For example, my green card only says "Cristina Reyes Smith", but my Philippine passport says "Maria Cristina Reyes Smith (because the Philippine consulate says they have to follow my birth certificate which has the 'Maria' ". And in the US, I only use Cristina Reyes Smith because most or all documents including immigrations only allow for 3 names (First Name, Middle Name and Last Name).

Thank you in advance for any advice.
