Ok, I followed the instructions here and I sent in my package. So I am happy about that.

I sent the package on February 28, 2014. On March 5, 2014 I got a text with WAC #.

About a week and half later I got Form I-797C, Notice of Action, with Notice date March 4, 2014.

It basically states they recieved the I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance. Payment Infor inidcates $340.00 and Biometrics Fee: $0.00.

1) I checked the USCIS site for case update today and it indicates that "March 6, 2014 you Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F Petition for Fiance. I am not sure what it means. Anybody?

2) I guess my fiance is going to Juarez since that is where they do K1 interviews. Anybody have any suggestions on interpreters? she can't speak english.

3) What can I do know to prepare for the NEXT STEP?

Thanks.

2) I guess my fiance is going to Juarez since that is where they do K1 interviews. Anybody have any suggestions on interpreters? she can't speak english. Consider checking in at the Mexico, Latin/South America Regional Forum for consulate-specific information.

3) What can I do know to prepare for the NEXT STEP? As ExExpat alluded to....read the K-1 guide (and flowchart).

Thanks.

Good luck on your visa journey
