Finally, got 3 emails saying I got approved and the card was ordered. Thanks to everyone for their words of encouragement. Good luck to those still waiting.

AOS/EAD

October 11, 2006 - Mailed AOS/EAD packet received in Chicago

October 16, 2006 - Receipt NOA1 issued ---> (Day 1)

October 19, 2006 - Received NOA1 in mail for EAD and AOS

October 26, 2006 - Received Biometrics Appt Letter ---> (Day 11)

October 31, 2006 - Biometrics Appt in Birmingham, AL ---> (Day 16)

January 4, 2007 - NO TOUCHES SINCE BIOMETRICS ... ---> (Day 81)

January 5, 2007 - EAD APPROVED; CARD ORDERED ... THANK YOU JESUS ... ---> (Day 82)

January 16, 2007 - AOS no touches/transfers/updates ... still waiting ---> (Day 93)

April 11, 2007 - AOS INTERVIEW --- APPROVED ON THE SPOT -- GREENCARD ORDERED

Dec. 10/04... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport stamped)

May 15/07... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Aug. 21/08... Interview - PASSED!!!!

Sept. 2/08... Oath Ceremony

Sept. 5/08... Sent in Voter Registration Card

Sept. 9/08... SSA office to change status to "U.S. citizen"

My understanding is that all EADs are supposed to be processed at the Missouri Service Center now.. is this untrue? Ours was apparently approved a few days ago as well- we only know this from making an infopass, but our online status hasn't changed since October...hmmm

02-24-07 Green Card in Hand

07-21-07 The REAL Wedding in Ghana

08/10/2016 - money orders: cashed

08/13/2016 - received NOA1s in the mail

08/24/2016 - touched

12/27/2016 - Cases Approved! (148 days or 4 months and 26 days total)

01/13/2017 - Completed DS-261

01/25/2017 - Received IV Fee

01/26/2017 - Paid AOS fee

01/30/2017 - Paid IV Fees

02/03/2017 - Completed IV and AR Application

02/23/2017 - sent NVC packets via USPS Priority Mail (note: I have to wait for my mom's police certificate, so there was a bit of a delay before I can send the package)

02/27/2017 - packets received at 11:30 am signed by N Visa Center

03/01/2017 - Scan Date

05/06/2017 - Case Completed

05/12/2017 - NVC scheduled the interview!

06/02/2017 - Medical (06/14 to 06/15 - Dad's Sputum Test)

06/16/2017 - Mom's Interview Date (Approved!)
