Foreign (Ukrainian) address in G-325a, I-129F forms, & Letter of Intent

My fiancee is from Ukraine, which uses a different address system then America. There are a few differences:

1. The city is preceded by the district.

2. Rather than State/Province they use Oblast, which means something like region.

3. They write their addresses backwards (from the US perspective), by writing the bigger location first.

So her address is something like:

Ukraine

Kiev Oblast

Kyiv City

03320, XYZ district

123 Streetname, Building 5, room 8

Question: What is the right way of writing these addresses on the G-325a, I-129F and Letter of Intent?

G-325A My idea is:

STREET NAME & NUMBER: 123 Streetname, Building 5, room 8

CITY: XYZ district, Kyiv City

Province or State: Kiev Oblast

Country: Ukraine

Is this ok?

I-129F This seems more problematic to me. There is no way for me to enter the district name under city. My opinion is:

STREET NAME & NUMBER: 123 Streetname, Building 5

APT: 8

CITY: Kyiv City

Postal Code: 03320

PROVINCE: Kiev Oblast

Country: Ukraine

Letter of Intent The VJ example form says to include the address of the beneficiary under their name. As I indicated above, the order in Ukraine is the reverse of the Ukrainian order. My feeling is that I should write it in the American way:

123 Streetname, Building 5, room 8

03320, XYZ district

Kyiv City

Kiev Oblast

Ukraine

Thanks for your response, but I'm a little confused.

Do you put the Street address and building on the same line?

Did you use the district before the city?

What about the province/state? Do you use the Oblast?

actually nothing problematic at all. here is how i made it:

2. Rather than State/Province they use Oblast, which means something like region.

Kyiv City

123 Streetname, Building 5, room 8

Question: What is the right way of writing these addresses on the G-325a, I-129F and Letter of Intent?

G-325A My idea is:

STREET NAME & NUMBER: 123 Streetname, Building 5, room 8

CITY: XYZ district, Kyiv City

Province or State: Kiev Oblast

Country: Ukra - on G-325A YOU FILL IN THE SAME WAY AS THEY ASK YOU, SO IT SHOULD BE: XXXXxX Str. 123, Building 5, Apt. 8 (from the address you indicated seems like she lives in a dormitory, if so than put Apartment instead of room...) City: NAME OF THE TOWN SHE LIVES IN (FOR EXAMPLE: BROVARY, FASTIV etc. - cos seems like she is not living in Kyiv but somewhere outside, i gave samples of towns that are around Kyiv), PROVINCE OR STATE: Kyiv COUNTRY: Ukraine

Short observance of mine as far as i am from Kyiv, so make sure the address you indicated is correct, cos from what i see seems she is out of Kyiv in suburbs. ALSO IF you put Kyiv put it all the same way in all forms, cos some put Kiev (that is russian transliteration).

Is this ok?

I-129F This seems more problematic to me. There is no way for me to enter the district name under city. My opinion is: - AGAIN YOU PUT ADDRESS IN THE SAY CONSECUENCE AS THEY ASK YOU, IT'S ALL SIMPLE, i guess on I-129F you ask about question 3a., so here it goes:

STREET NAME & NUMBER: 123 Streetname, Building 5 - XXXXX Str. 123/5 (or XXX Str, 123 Buidling 5)

APT: 8 - ОК

CITY: Kyiv City - ОК

Postal Code: 03320 - this code seems of Crimea, is what google say, so make sure it´s accurate

PROVINCE: Kiev Oblast - OK (or you simply say Kyiv)

Country: Ukraine

Letter of Intent The VJ example form says to include the address of the beneficiary under their name. As I indicated above, the order in Ukraine is the reverse of the Ukrainian order. My feeling is that I should write it in the American way:

123 Streetname, Building 5, room 8

03320, XYZ district

Kyiv City

Kiev Oblast

Ukraine - it´s fine.

You are the USCIS officer: do I get an RFE? '- What? As far as I know if you fill all as they ask they do not send any RFEs, and you send them all supporting docs. Good luck!

Each district in Kyiv has it's postal code so check with her, the one you indicated google showed as Crimea hahaha so make sure it's correct. Good luck and do not stress up too much about forms!
