I-130 Immigrant Petition for Relative processing times?

I have a question regarding an approved case post decision activity. I was sent the approval back in January that states that the case was sent to the Dept. of state for visa processing. The case is for my mother in law who is in Brazil.

Does anyone know typically how long this process takes from this point? She says she hasn't received anything yet and it's already been 2 months.

what type of petition is it? who is filing for her? the petitioner should have received something from NVC by now

It is a Immigrant for relative. It was filed by her daughter who is now a US Citizen & she got the same letter. Neither has received anything else from NVC since that notice in January.

she should call nvc and inquire about the case, she should have received a letter from NVC with her dad's case number

call nvc and inquire, the letter could have been lost or they didn't receive the approved i130 from USCIS

after 30 days she should be calling
