CENOMAR & Birth Certificate question for Manila Embassy

Good Afternoon VJ's,

I would like to ask if my cenomar and birth certificate should have red ribbon from DFA or embassy can accept them just the receipt from NSO.

Also we already sent our K-1 visa application ( I-129F) a week ago, my problem was i forgot to include the G325A when i sent my documents to my fiancee so what we did was i scanned the document w/ signature and that was the form he sent together w/ other docs.. do you that will create a problem?

Or we need to send the original G-325A again? i hope they will accept it....

Hi, asianculture! I'm not certain, but I hope this does not cause any problems with your application. I actually scanned a duly-completed form affixed with my signature, and my husband just had it printed out. It was the same document he included in the I-129F packet he sent for processing.

Nope not necessarily. I was approved w/o doing it. Its only applicable when you are applying european countries

The CENOMAR and Birth Certificate issued by NSO is fine, no need for red ribbon from DFA and the NSO receipt was not even asked from me during my interview. and about the scanned G-325A, i'm not that sure if they'll accept it without the original signature.

Sorry, I was pertaining to the G-325A in my previous reply. Anyway, the scanned copy (with my signature) along with other documents were included in my -129F packet. My husband sent it three weeks ago, and we've just recently received NOA1 that my papers have been accepted and routed to Nebraska Service Center.

Ok cool! that's what we did, fiancee scanned the G-325A w/ my signature and sent the complete doc ( I-129F) last week. I hope it will be a fast journey for us, thanks again!

Only need the CENOMAR and BC from NSO.

As for the G-325A very possible you will get an RFE as originals are requested by USCIS. I would get the original sent to you fiance so he has it when (if, more then likely when) the RFE arrives.

Receiving NOA1 hard copy doesnt mean your papers are ok. They just received it and still not opening.

That's correct. NOA1 is only the receipt that they received your document submissions. Their next step is to begin the processing and during this review is when they will respond if additional paperwork is needed. Like Hank said be proactive and have the documents sent to your Fiancée so he will not waste time in responding to the RFE.
