Okay,

My fiancé lives in England. I've read that it usually takes 5 months for the approval. I don't see any reason why we won't be approved, and I have everything required of me to mail in when I send in the form. Right now, I'm just waiting on the 2x2 photos he mailed out to me the other day. As soon as I receive them in the mail, I'm heading straight to the post office to mail in the application.

Could anyone give me any advice? I'm extremely antsy and want him to get here as soon as possible because I miss him like crazy. Do they approve before or after the interview and physical? Are the interview and physical done in the same day? I'm sure this question gets asked a lot, I just want my love to be here with me. Also, how much money do I have to make for him to be approved to come over here? I have a full time job and make half decent money, but I'm far from being rich. I'm just nervous that the US will delay the application or deny us for some stupid reason. All I want is for us to get married and be together. I've never felt as complete as I do when I'm with him, and we can't afford to visit each other again because we're both saving up for him moving here. Any help would be muchly appreciated.

I am the petitioner.

They approve after the medical and interview, what would be the point of the interview and medical if they did before?

I don't know about London but in Amsterdam there is a week in between the two.

Here is the information on the London Embassy, http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=United%20Kingdom&cty=London

These are the poverty guidelines for 2014, http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-864p.pdf

Good Luck

Not sure about London, but in Moscow my fiancé had her medical on Wednesday the 19th, and the interview on Friday the 21st. We went to the clinic to pick up the medical results after 2pm on the 20th and they were ready. Btw, on my process, my fiancé sent me via email properly cropped photos as a 4x6 JPEG and I was able to print them out at the local pharmacy. We had no problems with this, and the quality was good. Only cost me $0.75 for a group of 12.

Just try to be patient and the time will fly. I spent only 2 weeks with my now husband over a 6 month period. It was really hard on both of us but now we are together and it all just feels like a distant bad dream.

As long as you make at least what the poverty guidelines states you should be fine. The uscis seems to be processing petitions quite quickly recently.

The petition will be approved before the medical and interview, but the actual visa application wont be approved until the medical and interview are done. My medical and interview were done on seperate days, but this seems to vary from country to country.

Good luck and stay positive!
