Have previous overstay in US- can I apply for I-131 (advance Parole)

I'm a K-1 visa holder apply from AOS.

I'm wondering if I should apply for AP since I've previously had a 3-year bar from the USA for a 180 day overstay. I got a waiver for my overstay (which is now expired). Just wondering if it is wise or safe for me to leave the the country with a AP or if I can even apply for AP?

Thanks for your help.

It is at the complete discretion of CBP whether they will let you in or not even with AP if you had no previous issues so in your case I would sit tight until you have your green card in hand.
