It is the bacon, isn't it Kit? If there is anything to make someone deviate from Halal or Kosher, it is like a bacon cheeseburger. Yummmm.

So, I think we are going to have to put down my dog.... :( Thing attacked me tonight when I tried to clean her fur near her ears, which are still infected despite courses of antibiotics and antifungals. It isn't anything too serious, but it looks like I got into a fight with a feral cat or something.

So sorry, it's so hard losing a pet.

Take care of those cuts with her infections it could pass something on to you. Watch it carefully, you may want to see the doctor to get a round of antibiotic to be safe.

i will eat bacon but could happily live without it. what is great to me about pork is how tender it can be, and also how flavorful it is in broths, as compared to chicken or beef.

i am really sorry to hear about your dog :( *hugs*
