He was an old guy and couldnt keep up with the training. he probably would have been alright but the trainer is kind of a sarcastic jerk so might have discouraged him a bit.

Didn't he grow up playing "pong"? Like Darklar and Cary?

I might or might not have owned several pairs of those before I donated them about 2 years ago. I might have owned a pair of Grinders and a pair of Doc Martens. Now I wouldn't be caught dead in them, of course. Oh the things you can get away with wearing in one's youth.

hah, probably. i played ms pac-man in an arcade while waiting for a restaurant to open and it was still fun! even after thirty years, it still holds up to my desensitized, over-indulged brain.
