I have a lot of hope, also. Still, shift and change is painful sometimes. I thought it was some problem with adjusting to the USA, but sheesh ! I sense it's not that, at all. Instead, it seems to be the 'I'm Chinese, I will apply my background to all that I see and force things to work in the China Way'.

And I've no time to fight that battle - I'm in school with hard deadlines. Easy things about how to keep a house clean, have exploded into the Pits of Hell with a Southerly Breeze. I'm only glad I never unpacked my writer's desk (a label for something, not only the desk) at that house as I think she'd declare it rubbish and throw it out when I wasn't looking (I make fair coin writing, but I not mention it here) .. The 2nd time she cleaned up my work room at the house, was quite painful. IMO, worse than Tiff's OCD issues...

I dunno - I think my 'next action' for the week is gonna be to swing by after sunset each night, drink a beer with her and talk a bit... My most productive garden time is that 90 minute block before sunset.

Ya see? now you feel my pain.....

But I do hope it works out..... China schmina...

The shadow financing is catching up to them fast.

I actually do something similar boil, batter, and deep fry em then I put them in the slow cooker with sweet and sour sauce that I make.

Vegans hate bees they are trying to kill them all off by not wanting honey :P

What don't they fry in Arkansas :)?

I will do sweet and sour beef on Friday..it was supposed to be ribs but chuck was on sale and the guy said to try that so i will and see how it comes out.

Darn bee hating vegans ;) I love my honey...since I don't eat white sugar..honey is my go to sweetener...for smoothie and in tea.

Enjoy beef while you can :)

Vegans are behind the pesticides that are kill all the bees off. They brought in the mites that are killing them to.

Dang Vegans!

Contacting the City of Crystal now to inform them a wacko resident wants all the removed snow delivered to her yard.

Just tell them she wants to make a giant snow dog named Tyrannosaurus Dex .

My wife doesn't like to throw things away, but she does like to put things away. Where they're put away is the big question! We have weekly bulletins from our church stored in her nightstand. Why she keeps them, I've no idea. I asked her to throw them out once and she said she needs them. I didn't go further with that. But as she's been here longer, she's learned she can't keep everything like she did back in the Philippines. There is made sense, paper could be reused on the back side, plastic bags were very handy, bottles, boxes etc... all found a use at some point. Here too much comes in and eventually she has no place to put things away any longer. So she goes through and finally purges these needless saved items. So now she's learned there some things that are handy saving, but only so many of them. Although I don't believe she's purged the church bulletins yet, that one still confuses the heck out of me. Proof we go to church? They're printed on both sides, so no good for using the opposite side. She doesn't read them, even when we first get them. Hmmm maybe something just to make me wonder why????

Women can react weird when under stress, heck so can guys. The whole move to the USA, loss of the familiar may have stressed her out and she's circling the wagon around old habits and ways of doing things from home maybe. Sounds like you have a decent plan in place.

Just tell them she wants to make a giant snow dog named Tyrannosaurus Dex .

Trophie loves steak, but I ain't that skinny.

Maybe correlated?

As to spouses - I think you learn to adjust. My tool bench downstairs was impeccably organized before the Dane came, multiple tool boxes, each section sub labelled so I always knew where everything was.

Now - tool bench is a freaking mess and I have no idea where anything is. I can't even look at it and it would be a several day project to reorganize.

I want to roast my husband alive for that, but you just have to learn to step back and not say anything. I can keep "my" spaces organized just so, but I can't control another human like that. It just doesn't work.

Well I found that in the Future Internet news. Only accessible to us IT professionals you know. It was an Ohio mother of four living with her in laws. Sorry about that Jada. On the plus side, you no longer look like a teenager.
