No aversion at all...I love meat...health stuff :)

Like the fat in the meat multiplies and sticks to your arteries? An allergy to animal protein? Or you just want to stay very skinny, so veggies all the way?

Take green card, place recalcitrant spouse in box, write return to sender on box, and ship back to China. Iffen you have an extra box, put Stevklar's wife in one to. Heck send my wife to. We'll form a new HeMan Woman Hater's club!

Now that's funny - a new branch of the HeMan Woman Hater's Club. I was a past vice-president at a local chapter, after a divorce...

My cholesterol was really really high...and I needed to get it down asap and after that I decided to keep with veganism but again..I will eat tuna/salmon at times and even have milk chocolate if i feel like it...i am not crazy strict..I eat honey (will never understand why vegans don't eat honey)...and I just feel better to be honest. Works for me...I do taste meat when I cook it sometimes...sometimes I don't...Iike I won't touch ribs ...feel no need to...but if i am making chicken curry I will taste one cube of chicken to see if it is seasoned...see ? :)

It truly sucks what you're going through, Darnell. I sure hope she comes to her senses. And of course her friends are going to back her up, they're hearing half a story, twisted by her view point. IE I don't know what to do with my husband, he refuses to work! Isn't that terrible? And he gets angry when I clean the kitchen or bathroom properly. I can't live in a pig stye, can I?

I'm thinking to get Mrs. Darnell and her Mum up to Dallas one weekend, and have some interaction with my 'Rescued Aunties' Group. If she pays attention to them, well, I'm thinking she'll be pole-axed with their teachings. Still, that's a reserve action, in case nothing else works. She's not refused to see me, and we are still talking, when I have time throughout a day.

Well I truly wish you good luck in working through this. I know there have been trying times with my wife, but they've all worked out so far. Who knows if they will keep working out, but the further she gets from just having arrived, the better things have gotten.

You don't know how many times I was tempted to make a similar wise crack. But I'm being a good boy this morning.

I have a lot of hope, also. Still, shift and change is painful sometimes. I thought it was some problem with adjusting to the USA, but sheesh ! I sense it's not that, at all. Instead, it seems to be the 'I'm Chinese, I will apply my background to all that I see and force things to work in the China Way'.

And I've no time to fight that battle - I'm in school with hard deadlines. Easy things about how to keep a house clean, have exploded into the Pits of Hell with a Southerly Breeze. I'm only glad I never unpacked my writer's desk (a label for something, not only the desk) at that house as I think she'd declare it rubbish and throw it out when I wasn't looking (I make fair coin writing, but I not mention it here) .. The 2nd time she cleaned up my work room at the house, was quite painful. IMO, worse than Tiff's OCD issues...

I dunno - I think my 'next action' for the week is gonna be to swing by after sunset each night, drink a beer with her and talk a bit... My most productive garden time is that 90 minute block before sunset.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.
