The husband was just going to take the dog somewhere and dump it. The wife wanted to find it a home, and had posted in facebook asking if anyone wanted it. One day later the husband said he was going to release it outside, temps were -20 F here at night at the time, if she didn't have a home for it by the end of the day. So she asked my wife directly, if she'd take it. She knew we did fostering and such. I debated turning it over to our rescue group, but decided to keep her instead.

:protest: terrible but glad the puppy has a home !

We spent over $1000 on medical bills for our old dog but in the end we still had to put him down because we did not want him to suffer anymore.

All these happened within 2 days of vet visit.

If people don't want to take care of their pet, then don't get one.

Yep, I'm in agreement. But I once had a vet get upset with me for wanting to put down an elderly dog. The dog was arthritic, deaf, near blind and had cancer. You could feel tumors all over under her skin. She reached the point where she could not hold down food, meaning slowly starving to death. It wasn't an easy decision, I'd had her a lot of years, but knew this was the end for her, and I didn't want her to suffer. The vet wanted me to stretch this out with operations, chemo and trying foods that might be easier on her. Yah like chemo was going to make her stomach hold food easier. I couldn't believe the nerve of that vet, sounded to me like they just wanted to rack up some huge charges regardless of the suffering my poor dog would have gone through.

seriously....see that is what I hate..when people don't think about the goal here...make the dog better, do the best for them....it sounds to me like there wasn't anything else to be done...why prolong the pain...

we had people back home hurt our animals....we had a persian cat she somehow got out...our neighbor actually stabbed her...needless to say she did not live thru that....

we need another topic lol

Don't be a cheap Tarklar, and donate some money!

My wife's college batch mates contact her yearly when they're having their annual reunion party. They always want her to donate money so they can have a bigger party.

I'm irritated with large corporations that give horse ####### service right now. And service you have to pay extra for besides.

marinating the ribs in rosemary, salt, dark brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, garlic and a bit of cayenne and normal pepper. Let's see how it turns out tomorrow. Glazing it with a similar thing and grilling after roasting for a couple of hours. *fingers crossed*

so wouldn't it be better to remove it entirely ? or would it just grow back anyways.

Better to remove it instead.

arrrrgggggg took three hours in total to get my product key so I could activate the new version of the software, and they friggen entered the serial number wrong so it won't activate. I friggen hate companies, absolutely loath companies, that make it so hard to use their software when they charge and arm and a leg for it. And why does it take an hour on hold to get someone? Figgen hate that to.
