I'm on my third cup, and feel like face planting on my desk. I got almost seven hours of sleep, I shouldn't feel this way. I think its because the Korean restaurant we ate at yesterday tried to poison me. They added mushrooms to my dish even though there was no mushrooms listed as an item in it. I was happily eating away at it, until I discovered them. Took an antihistamine, which calmed the negative effects, but I think my body is still reacting to a degree to them. Needed more sleep than normal to recover again. Its been a long time since I was poisoned this way. When I say poisoned, I mean I'm allergic to mushrooms.

I remember you mentioning the mushrooms....geez...that is crazy and I can see how you would need more sleep...it would probably be best to take half day off....

Does drinking a lot of water and such help any with getting it out of your system ? I cannot imagine coffee would since it has "dehydrating" properties ? (this is just me thinking out loud lol)

Only time seems to get it out of the system completely. If I only drank water now, I probably wouldn't be awake at all. I debated taking the day off, but I have some things that must be completed today at the office. Maybe I'll go coffee, water, coffee, water all day

well i had a great monday! slept in late, watched the great british sewing bee and a romcom and then napped a bunch more. in the evening, i helped my mom pick the fruits off our belimbing tree (ok had to look this up...scientific name: averrhoa belimbi) and sorted them into piles (nice ones for us and our neighbour, decent-ish ones for the market and yukky ones for the trash). then dinner with the fam. wish all mondays could be like this one..
