Decent Tuesday, si man. Had lousy night and was initially groggy. Spent workday leisurely moving into new, larger office just steps from old one. At the casa, cat took nap with me. GOOD nap. Cat has been ultra-affectionate all this computer-time, and I now see that it's because she wants me to notice the Carl's Jr. wrapper. I shall take same downstairs and "play ball," then rest-of-cat prep zzz, man.

Must return eBay screw-up in the morn, grrr man.

Edit: Someone better get Steveklar to approve a name for the new thread that might be needed on Wed., see man.

lol so we were organising a surprise birthday lunch for 2 colleagues and asked our management support officers to help us find a common date. instead of doing it discreetly, they emailed all of us, including the birthday girls, asking for common dates for a...get this...SURPRISE birthday lunch.

they were also asked by my colleagues to think of a farewell gift for me (also supposed to be a surprise). instead of looking up gift options online (which apparently they were told to do), they just emailed me to ask for suggestions and listed the budget range  i don't think my colleagues wanted me to know how much they intend to spend on a gift...

Well this way they can get the surprise part out of the way without all the fuss. Very efficient of your managers, they ought to be commended for their forethought.

I suck them up because (...no, NOT because I suck) of my constant wit, incisive intellect, and disgustingly Fabio-like good looks that overwhelmingly charm the Eastern-Bloc distaff team, with others to follow, whee man. In addition, I am the most modest person who ever trod the earth, si man.

Well that to, but I didn't want to embarrass you with all that praise.

You should make them the night before, so you only need to drink them in the morning. Works great for coffee.

Did you get Juna's Hemlock Cookies recipe?

Step one, get to know this plant and find where it grows in sunny locations.

http://www.kingcounty.gov/environment/animalsAndPlants/noxious-weeds/weed-identification/poison-hemlock.aspx

Put a boat load into any cookie mix.

Bake Cookies, why do we call them cookies when they're baked? Shouldn't they be called bakies?

Serve to well deserving people.

one day of smoothies as you make them would probably taste gross to me. Now a Dairy Queen strawberry shake, thats a different matter.

:lol::lol:

also, bakies would be so much better....we need to put a petition together for bakies.

I don't think it is bad honestly...it has cocoa powder and bananas (and nutritional yeast that you cannot taste) and peanut butter...honey...nothing bad...almond milk...its good !

Yes, doesn't bakies sound so much cooler too!?

It would be funny to make a petition on whitehouse.gov to get the name changed to bakies. I think the petition could go viral. Release it just in time for April 20th, so the stoners all get crazy over the idea.

Actually that doesn't sound too bad, except maybe the almond milk, I like real milk.

the almond milk is not strong in almond flavor (I don't like the after taste) so it really is not bad at all. Ew cannot do milk...that warm cow milk experience killed it for me :D

let's do it ! Bakies !!!!
