Thank you everyone! You know I love you guys!

He's being admitted. I just brought some food home.

He'll be OK....

I think the radiation pills weakened his immune system. And brought on the pneumonia.

I am in a very odd mood of wanting to listen to significant czech/slovak songs from the past, right around the time of revolution...weird evening indeed.

I don't mind his music at least. But he could have learned something new...his loss. :)

lol so we were organising a surprise birthday lunch for 2 colleagues and asked our management support officers to help us find a common date. instead of doing it discreetly, they emailed all of us, including the birthday girls, asking for common dates for a...get this...SURPRISE birthday lunch.

they were also asked by my colleagues to think of a farewell gift for me (also supposed to be a surprise). instead of looking up gift options online (which apparently they were told to do), they just emailed me to ask for suggestions and listed the budget range  i don't think my colleagues wanted me to know how much they intend to spend on a gift...

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

If you get a window seat. A lot of those transatlantic flights have that huge middle row - yuck.

i got the 2 seater row - it's towards the back where the plane tapers a little. i like it, it's quiet there and you don't have to step over 2 people to go to the bathroom.

multi-packs of yer fav readi-pak noodles, bought at mustafa, plus a huge plastic carry bag for the airplane to schlep it all.
