it was a bit odd when I got back to be honest...I think they felt bad...like the MIL told me there is Japanese in Columbus and that maybe we should go also and then hubs said there was 3 of them....but that was an hour after I got back. Initially nobody talked to me, I kid you not. FIL came to the room and said "welcome home" that was all I heard in the first 2 hours. I think I may have given off some sort of a "don't talk to me" vibe.

They did feel bad and I think that's what it was.

Surprised I got a bike....I got the "wow...".

so...I have a problem....I may have uhm...thrown my cell phone into the washing machine with all my clothes

By way, how is the family treating the other daughter-in-law? I supposed she is American, not foreign girl.

you mean the leech ? they pay for all of her kids...medical, insurance, they pay for their cars, repair them, they buy the groceries (not all the time)....everything and anything. MIL says that the daughter in law does not like her and since she cannot handle that she does everything in her power to give her anything she wants. Also....she is no threat...she has a lot of issues...smoking, drinking, pills etc etc. no education.....so MIL feels secure..if that makes any sense.

We'll get Congress to pass a law that is must be included in all video games sold in the USA. Or maybe have the president just make it an executive decision.

It seems like a lot in family situations that the "troubled" once gets more attention, more praise, and more money. They seem to get rewarded for their bad behavior versus the good child who gets shoved out of the house at 18, etc.

I think those types get what is coming to them eventually. The handouts do stop sometimes and everything they rub in others faces comes and bites them in the ###.
