Had Mrs. T-B. ever intimated her contemplation of the above, her shapely hindquarters would have been on the next plane to Ecu. Come to think about it, that's what happened today, see man.

You should try pampering Mrs TB once in a while, don't be such a penny pincher all the time :)

seems like a good recipe

I'm licking my chops at the Return-to-Bachelorhood Diet. Bought today at Kroger & Aldi, see man:

8 pouches Uncle Ben's Roasted Chicken microwave rice, whee man

8 pouches Kroger's similar microwave rice, whee man

16 cans tuna-in-water, fish man

10 cans green peas, pea man

8 cans Cream of Mushroom soup, 'shrooms man

1 bag baby carrots, What's-Up-Doc man.

Home dinners for the next 3+ weeks shall consist of tuna in rice plus either peas or 'shroom soup, slurp man, of course drenched in ground black pepper, sneeze man. I shall allow myself one "bad" day/week (meaning pizza, Carl's Jr., or similar). Late-night snacking, if any, shall consist of baby carrots. This excepts the upcoming trip, si man.

whatju guys upto now?

I had a busy day.....tired....

Up at 4:15a to ferry brood to airport

Wait at airport until monitor denotes flight as "departed"

Return to casa bereft of the dearly departed, after gassing Mrs. T-B.-mobile

Mow completely pollen-covered lawn

Gas, warsh, & garage T-B.-mobile in favor of solely driving Mrs. T-B.-mobile

Purchase vittles at Kroger & Aldi

Purchase 2 jugs Amdro in anticipation of hormigas del fuego

Eat breakfast (at 3:15p) composed of vittles purchased at Kroger & Aldi

Nap -- in own bed, to confusion of needy cat -- for only 90 minutes

Explain to needy cat where Mommy & Little Brother are, and why it's so quiet

Play "toss the wadded-up paper" to appreciative needy cat

Wait fruitlessly for forgetful cat-sitting neighbor to show up for orientation

Inventory travel supplies; scope destination weather reports on-line

Purchase single-use cameras at Walgreens

Purchase delectable gut-bombs at Carl's Jr. with use of coupon

Return home to eat delectable gut-bombs from Carl's Jr.

Play "toss the wadded-up paper" to appreciative needy cat

Receive call from Mrs. T-B., complete with deafeningly gleeful child noises

Brief Mama T-B. on whereabouts & well-being of Mrs. T-B. & Mini-B.

Receive rescheduling call from distressedly apologetic sit-catting neighbor

Dish the warsher

Receive call from uncle

Retrieve message from Mrs. T-B., complete with deafeningly gleeful child noises

Pay bills

Watch late local TV news

De-dish the warsher; consider laundry without acting

Get fired as Official Thread-Laundress for considering laundry but without acting

Answer "whatju guys upto now?" while staying up FAR too late

I'm done laundry, coughing my brains out, and been attached to the little guy as he is going through a growth spurt and now wants to eat eat eat. That's about it.

Oh -- add to list: coughing brains (if any) out, courtesy of forgetting to take semi-protective pills before mowing pollen-covered lawn

Little tuti-pies like to eat eat eat. It's not as though they have many other hobbies, no man.

He does not get bottles he will be fattened up the other way tongue.png

Thank you for keeping us abreast of his situation, wee man.

I might just bake cakes for dinner....

Let them eat cake, si man!

Let them eat cake!

Is there an echo in here, huh huh man man?

Now me, I did some manly stuff this afternoon....

Changed spark plugs

Changed accelerator position sensor (see? Even sounds manly)

Changed malfunctioning horn

cute ! i had a day o garden with my garden team. Mrs. D shows up with a practitioner she met last week, and turns out he has a garden also. learned new functional equivalents, ie

Darnell has an organic micro-farm, which is sometimes confused for

a commercial nursery, which can be seemingly interchanged with

A Chinese Farm, where most Chinese call it

a garden.

This practitioner has the same plot size as I do ( ~ 2 acres) and does the same type of reclamation/reuse that I do. Once I got the beer cold, I sat him down, went over the reclamation, reuse part, asked him to tell the wife about it,

and her eyes got big, telling me - 'Ah - ok - now I understand Green, and why Rustic Cracker Farm is so funny as a title' and apparently she has some new respect for me,

as

a Chinese Medicine Practitioner told her that I am a better gardener than he is.

Is not any competition, but I am glad a chinese person finally set her straight. I was tired of getting hit with a cane. She apologized, also, for not knowing why 'Green Organic Micro-Farms' actually make money in the USA and finally asked to go over the Detroit Portfolio in detail.

I want this mug.....

item_XL_5034418_1698382.jpg

OK - here's an exercise in futility -- something to do for the upcoming week.

GIVE THE PHOTO TO TIFF:

1. print out

2. mms message to her phone

3. email attachment

4. stickers attached to inside of her car with caption 'Steve wants you to buy me'

and let her know that this would be an acceptable replacement for the mug she broke earlier in the year.

I'm sad, really, as I not read of any mug replacement or extra-special apologetics ...
