1. Well my husband felt well enough to get a load of mulch for my flower beds. The boys helped spread it out for me, they did a good job. Now I need to take care of my poor roses.

2. Pizza sounds good but not sure how our systems would handle it after that bug.

Mama T-B., as is her wont, was busting my chops over eating tuna every day, because of all the mercury in it. Therefore, this eve I went to Denny's and dined heartily on a (???!!) T-Bone steak, courtesy of a "20% off total guest check" coupon that would have expired before Mrs. T-B.'s return, so I used it shamelessly, oj tak.

Speaking of hungry, I just went downstairs to retrieve a newly bought banana, si man. I rarely buy them, because I always seem to eat 4 on the first day and then the rest go bad, sigh man. In addition, there's nowhere to put them while keyboarding, so typing one-handed is necessitated, wrist-cramp man.

Speaking of typing one-handed, I had to gulp the banana, because the cat has arisen from deep downstairs slumber and is knocking everything off the table in a circuitous attempt to sit on my lap, miu man. Yet again, she has knocked the full roll of paper towels into her litter box, sigh man. However, she and her corpulent self is now on my lap, gazing adorably at me while purring like a motorboat.

Thank you, wow ma'am. That thing she's eating must be an Ecu corn-dog... I can't identify it, no man...

Arose, 99.44% unwillingly, at o'dark-thirty. Got on road before 8a. At first mass sale, bought a hard-leatherette file case (don't know what to call it) for $2, si man. Next single sale was overpriced, bye man. Third stop was to be for GSs spread around a subdivision, but found only two, sigh man. However, lady at one directed us to a contiguous subdivision where far more sales were being held, whee man.

Bought a cake-spatula (ja ja , Jada) for 50 cents; 2 new-in-package pillowcases for $1; and a windbreaker jacket, originally $Many ($5), for $Many ($3). Finally, found some black Calvin Klein jeans for 50 cents. They fit fine in both girth and length and were good enough to wear, but I took them to my Vietnamese tailorette to make them into short pants, chop man.

It seems that I also bought something else, but it isn't coming to mind, oj tak and nie. Anyway, at approx. 11:15a, was conveniently near Aldi Foods, so spent $Many there, then went home, ate lunch, and took a 2-hour nap, zzz man.

Spent rest of day running various errands, including serendipitously stumbling upon the last day of a 20%-off-for-members sale at Babies 'R Us, whee man. Cleared some piles of papers around the downstairs, toss man. Picked shirts & ties for next week, dapper man. Ministered to cat. Ate banana. Partied with rubias. Awaiting more +1 largesse from those whose good taste is not merely in their mouths, si and no man.

News flash, see man: Probably tomorrow, will pass 20,000 VJ posts, whee man. Barring more company-man business here tonight, shall retire earlyish in order to arise earlier-than-usualish in order to retrieve Sunday paper from driveway in the forecast heavy rain, this last always prompting the delivery guy to use too-short, torn bags and to carefully position the thrown paper in such manner as to receive the outflow from the strongest rivulet of rainwater, wet man, at which prowess he has achieved world-class status on 5 of the last 7 Sundays and this is a wonderful run-on sentence, whee man.

Meanwhile, shall de-dish the warsher, re-minister to cat (who, confused by a different order of activities, insisted upon being brushed early), and prep and zzz, man.
