I remember in my old house....the stoop was frozen solid. And my father and son dogs loved snow....they were all excited to go out, I opened the door. they flew out and slid across the stoop flailing their stubby legs and rolled off the stoop lol

A friend of mine had this hunting dog, a Wire haired Griffon. He trained him to run to the end of the dock and jump into the lake, when he through the training decoy out there. This dog is primarily bred for retrieving waterfowl. So winter comes along and for some stupid reason he decides to throw the training decoy off the end of the dock. The dog goes running, leaps off the end of the dock thinking its going to land in water and hits hard ice. The dog yelps, limps over the training decoy, picks it up, walks back slowly, sets it at his feet and just stares at his master. Realizing the dog hurt himself leaping onto the ice, he no longer throws the decoy off the end of the dock, but continues to throw it around, the dog fetches a returns it just fine. Come spring, he's out working the dog at the lake again, and its wet water so he throws the decoy off the end of the dock, the is all excited, starts running down the dock and just comes to a dead halt. The dog completely refused from that time forward to ever leap off the dock again

both places look really good! a steakhouse that serves sushi is an interesting concept to me...maybe they'll have some basashi on the menu.

I was thinking the same, but a place that doesn't show prices on their online menu is probably only a special occasion place for me.

I actually left my house at 6:30 and went to pick up one of my coworkers. We took the backroads and avoided 694. Still made it to work on time because I AM A SNOW BEAST.

Were there loads of accidents?

Saw a few accidents, more people just going into the ditch. I normally don't drive the freeway, but drove my wife to work this morning, so I hopped on the freeway to get back to my workplace.
