Well they had a res at 8:30 but we have some plans afterwards (cake/champagne) so I didn't want to go that late. Plus I get so tired so early now.

Me too! We went out for a late date a few weeks ago and I was ready to crash.

I love the old danish way....based on one number yes...but I do lol.

I bet they do have Danish people at NYU but I suppose they were testing me...same as when they asked if I would join their female soccer team...I said no. *shrug* won't lie but I did say I was open to learning another language.

ah I see about the Norwegian class..do you feel that it is more difficult having to do it over Skype and what not ? I tried doing Arabic over Skype with a good friend of mine but it was somewhat difficult.

Yeah, I think they were testing you to see if you'd say you spoke a language that you didn't. Probably because your list of languages is long. ;)

It triggers some fear having to do it over Skype. I should be an old Skype pro by now, but doing the first time over Skype was like the first time I spoke to my husband on Skype, I was soooo nervous. We were able to communicate just fine, but I always find speaking a language that I've just started studying to be really intimidating especially when I have no idea how bad or good the other people in class are.

1. Like Carolinian-English isn't as dialect as much as it is a throat disease, suhee main...

2. Where does Finnish finish among these compatriot languages, huh man?

1. I've never noticed.

2. Finland is actually not part of Scandinavia, but rather the larger Finno-Scandinavia. They are culturally similar, but linguistically from a whole different tree. Actually, there are some scholars who believe that Finnish is part of the same tree as Turkish, etc.

They not use the open source version - it's really faster, better and leaner. Take a look at InnoSetup when yer feeling free or going commando.

I feel yer pain, for waiting. What's her face and I are on a 3 way telephone call into USCIS , we've been on hold for 135 minutes almost. still, we're talking over the muzak to each other, so that's a plus.

They did a fix when the install was taking people forever. A few months later they released an update to fix a bug, and the super slow install was back :bonk: Rockwell has outsourced most of their programming to India, and the quality of the programmers they're using is horrible. The also regularly have released broken versions of their software, which will fail to completely install or fails to work once installed. Unless you're buying the development software for the first time, you no longer get disks, you need to download software. They'll have bad versions on the download web site, which you spend a lot of time downloading, then burning to a DVD if you have to do multiple system installs like I do. When you work with their techs to discover its a bad version, they'll give you a different location to download from that has a good version of the same software, marked with the same revision. Of course when you talk with representatives and complain about these issues they'll totally deny they're even occurring. The quality control of their software has gone totally to pot since they've outsourced this stuff. Given we pay about ten thousand a year for the rights to upgrade in order to use their controllers in machines we design and build, this is a little ridiculous.

That actually explains how many of us guys get into trouble. We get questions like "I know there is no horse, but what do you think about time?" Then we reply, I think its about time we get moving, you've been getting dressed for two hours now and we were supposed to be there an hour ago.

Nice snow storm here in Minnesota. I sent the dogs out for their morning break, and the snow removal crew hadn't been by yet. One by one, out they go, first one the snow is to here shoulders. She's trying to figure out how to pee, finally she tromps around in circles to clear a space where her privates aren't buried and goes. Let the next one out, snow is 3/4's of the way up to his shoulders, he's trying to figure the same thing out, finally he just lifts his leg and goes with it still buried in the snow. Finally the last dog goes out, now she absolutely loves snow. She totally ignores doing her business and starts rolling around and running while she's burying her face in the snow. I have to go outside and shout at her to do her business, but by now theres all types of places to easily go. The first dog was the funniest. She got to the bottom of the steps and just sat there with a dumb look on her face wondering what to do for a while.

the three dogs here are the same....and with rain ...they all run out like bullets and then 20 secs later stop all confused about the water pouring and then run back barking...upset. Of course...10 mins later they want to go outside again forgetting it is wet out.....

Well usually at least the plow has been by, so when they push through the snow on the steps, they can use the driveway. But today no plow or step shovellers have been by. Almost always the plow is by when we leave, but today still not. They did show up at 1:00 am and make a quick path through the middle, but normally they've got the whole thing done by 6:30 when we leave. Drove my wife to work, I'm just putting in half a day, so I'll pick her up and we'll do lunch after we leave.
