I actually got a good postprandial nap, zzz man -- the first since returning from having vacated, si man.

---

All the subdivision GSs for Saturday were on the other side of town until I read the local weekly rainwater newspaper, see man, and there are some a lot closer, whee man.

---

On the way home from work, I stopped at one of my favorite resale stores (open late on Wednesdays), and saw their sign for 50% off housewares. Upon internal inspection, I saw a huge wooden bowl (for fruit or whatever), with retail sticker on bottom for $32 and resale price of $8. I approached the nice head lady, donned my innocent demeanor, and asked, "Is this a houseware?" She said, "Well, OK," so I saved (if my algebra is correct) $Many.

---

Belated Thread-Laundress report from the weekend: One partial load of resale purchases + jeans; one partial load of fuzzy black stuff; one very full regular load of regular stuff, si man. That will be Many (a hunnerd fiddy).

---

There shall be no dishes to warsh until Saturday night, no and si man, courtesy of my ultra-efficient use & reuse of bowls & utensils, so cat, prep, zzz man.

---

Mornin', Asia, and you have some +1 work to do, oj tak.

new doctor was very nice! got a 6 month supply of yasmin for about US$150 including consultation.

That's pretty cheap, right?

Mrs. T-B. is no longer an Ecuatoriana, for sure, si and sigh man.

She was a lot calmer today, calling to say that Mini-B. was in a good mood and was acting normally today, and that perhaps he's becoming acclimated. She sent fotos of him playing trains in the dirt with his cousins or others. Maybe she can finally have a "Mommy's Couple-of-Hours Out" with her amigas, si man.

She's become a spoiled Americana.....

You'll know the transformation is complete when she ditches the rag on a stick.

Good morning thread,

back in lovely Columbus....bus ride sucked pretty bad...somehow, the more time I take that bus the worse it gets....I should not be allowed to take bus to NYC ever again....just fly...even if that means borrowing more money from the sister.

On more positive note - I am not in bed with pomeranian....we are kindred spirits and missed each other greatly.

Interview: I don't know whether it went well or not...I was not happy about things as I was the first time around. Some questions just were not as easy to answer and my head was a bit blank....to be honest. I would like to blame the flu that barely just passed by the time interview rolled around but I don't know.....they said they will be following up with another person next week and I should hear something. Apparently the job would start mid May...I saw offices and everything but everyone was poker faced...no clue if I did terribly or good enough.....they thanked me for my commitment to shlep there by bus 2x in a row....

I enjoyed reading up on thread, did not feel like backtracking with responses so this should cover some of it.

ps: pork bun was good, did not make me sick either....I was surprised.

I'll be honest... the term "once a cheater always a cheater" has ALWAYS annoyed me. Just because they cheated on you, doesn't mean they'll cheat on someone else. There ARE serial cheaters, people for whom it is hard or impossible to hold a monogamous relationship, and they should learn to recognize that within themselves. But you never know what has made something happen.

That doesn't make it right to do something, I'm not condoning; it just makes the blanket statement incorrect.

 I refrain from the term for the same reason. There are even studies that have shown just that. The reasons behind the cheating have more to say about if they'll cheat again than the actual cheating. But for some the reason behind it is a lack of ability to control impulses, those are the serial cheaters.

It is pretty cheap for Yasmin. I used to be on Microgynon years ago which was some crazy price like $3 a month. Yasmin is $32 per month so 10x more in comparison. Microgynon had terrible side effects for me though and I struggled to stay on it for almost a year before giving up. I have heard nothing but good things about Yasmin from friends - improved complexion, weight loss (!), etc. Because I bought 6 packs, the doc knocked the price down to $29.

Flying to Seattle on 6 May 2014!

Why you got a sump pump on top of your water heater?

that's not a sump pump you very foolish engineer.....

My house is equipped with "side vent" water heaters. No chimney. That's a blower motor. That's why I had to order the heater and can't just go to Hone Depot to buy one.

I hear lawyer commercials suing the maker of Yasmin all the time on TV. Almost as much as I hear the lawyer commercials suing about a drug that gave female breasts to boys.

Keep your religious beliefs out of my medical concerns! Yeesh! That's ridiculous.

Thanks! If we dont find it we don't. But I think we're both motivated. He just never does anything until it's in his face. It's a wonder we were engaged so quickly really. Lol!

I get the feeling you were putting something in front of his face and he didn't want to lose it.

A.O. Smith? Congrats, but why spend so much, huh man?

For a new State heater, including purchase, delivery, installation, and bringing the appallingly out-of-code stuff up to snuff, I spent a total of $Many ($589). Too bad that the plumber couldn't have delivered the heater himself, or we'd have saved $Many ($70), sigh man.

Side vent with computer control 50 gallon models.

now that you mention it, they do look like a sump pump lol
