I hope you didn't say that about me having lunch with J?

Or I should say...

I hope that's not in reference to 2 acquaintances meeting for lunch?

I'll be honest... the term "once a cheater always a cheater" has ALWAYS annoyed me. Just because they cheated on you, doesn't mean they'll cheat on someone else. There ARE serial cheaters, people for whom it is hard or impossible to hold a monogamous relationship, and they should learn to recognize that within themselves. But you never know what has made something happen.

That doesn't make it right to do something, I'm not condoning; it just makes the blanket statement incorrect.

I've always thought it was sort of a better idea to think of it as... once a person cheats on a specific person, they are likely to again. Rather than a whole lifetime label, know what I mean?

Absolutely not.

I was referring to another post in another thread. It's a sediment often stated in the "changes in family" forum. I just don't want to link the thread there, keep the drama out ya know ;)

I can agree with that. Whatever made that person unhappy enough with that significant other will be more likely strike again.

I think I'm homesick for Canada.

I'm not even from Canada!

Oh thanks for clarifying that up Nik :)

I'm sorry.

No worries! Sorry to give the wrong impression.

I had that issue with an ex. Over the years after we divorced, she bounced around. I have different values than her, different set of morals. I will never understand folk that do that.

1. You pollo, man. I read the 75 (Many) pages that I missed. Hmmmph.

2. Super, si man!

Speaking of which, Mrs. T-B. is ultra-miserable in her hometown. Too hot, and Mini-B.'s eye infection has stopped improving and his tummy aches from the milk. He won't leave her alone for a minute and constantly says "I want to go home."

I told her to get back to Cuenca (cooler) and then go to Quito (somewhat cool). Sigh, man.

Oh no. :( Hope things get better for them. It's unfortunate that Mini-B isn't enjoying Ecuador, but I'm sure his age has much to do with that. Hubby really wants to acclimate our kids to Ecu from a young age, and I know he'd be really upset if they openly disliked it. I think he's afraid they're going to be "spoiled American brats".

Hope everything went well today, J! :)

USC who lived in Manabí, Ecuador with hubby from 2009 - 2013. Hubby became a naturalized American citizen in August 2016. Currently living together in northern Virginia.

So hubs tells me, at least a two car garage and a basement.... /head desk. There was a home I really liked online, he sees it today, gets excited then I tell him its under contract already and deflates. Well thats what happens when you keep wanting to wait. This week I'm on nights and next week he is. Guess we'll see what comes up. We need to have something by end of June or we're in our place for another 11 months... sigh.
