Quit work stop why did you import a husband if not to support you stop

He submitted his resume for a new position last night. We're both conflicted about it because, on the one hand, it's amazing (and I mean amazing) money/benefits/etc, but on the other, it's a travel job, so he would be gone for up to a month at a time.

Our thinking is that: a) we've been apart before and demonstrated that our relationship will not crumble because of distance, b) I'm not pregnant/we don't have a child, so now would be the time to be away on business, c) the money and accumulated flight and hotel points would help us out immensely.

Still, it's hard to think about him being gone and me being a single mother of a t-dex and show dog.

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

1- That's good! (for him ;) )

2- Can you use the points to fix your door and tires?

3- Hannibal Dexter will eat Angus if not watched.....

Those things have already been fixed and paid for. We need money for things like student loan repayments, bills, mortgage payments, etc...

Hannibal Dexter is being a saucy little minx at the moment. Not very friendly.

I would totally consider that, I like my personal space and enjoyed our long distance relationship.

I know how it is. I sooo wish I had never gotten student loans. Nightmare they are.

I'd come up with a witty retort, but I'm juggling a dripping-wet bag of baby carrots (test-replacement for cheaps, which I have temporarily forsworn as a further weight-loss test -- have lost 15 lbs. since the "flu that wasn't") and a needy cat who is AGAIN on my lap, nuzzling my hands as I type, and who just brought the wadded-up Carl's Jr. wrapper to my feet in hopes of playing "chase the Carl's Jr. wrapper that Daddy throws," si and miu and sigh man.

Oh, gawd -- she's playing with it herself on the floor while looking at Daddy expectantly. If I leave the bag of carrots on my desk, it'll soak through all my important junk on here.

I note (as of yesterday) I have lost 28 pounds since my beneficiary landed.

re: Carl Jr's wrappers - that smacks of you actually bring that stuff home. Don't do it, don't eat it, instead run by Half-Price Books and pick up a used edition of 'South Beach Diet' and read the first section and stay on phase I till you drop the weight you need.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
