My daughter comes into my room "Mommy can I hang out with you?"

Me: "Sure, I'd love to hang out with you."

Her: "Can I have my ipad?"

Me: "No."

Her: "I'm going to go hang out in the living room."

Classic.

I made chicken and gnocchi soup for supper. It's a copy cat of Olive Garden, but I didn't use premade gnocchi I made em from scratch.

Been feeling better this week I think getting out in the sun and doing some gardening help my mood, dang baby blues hit me hard this time around, but at least it doesn't seem to be PPD. Tomorrow will be shepards pie. Then I need to get around to shampooing the carpets again, so glad I convinced the husband to buy me a shampooer it has paid for itself twice over. Now to convince him to rip out the stupid carpet!

Carpet is really hard to keep clean with kids and pets. I've always kind of wondered how the people who have it keep it so clean, because the one apartment I had it in, it was practically destroyed from spills of drinks, pet accidents, muddy shoes, etc. I tried my best to shampoo it, but to no avail.

That is why we are going with tile/wood.

My bedroom and loft are carpeted :)

'Cuz you neat and Asian?

I spill tea on my floor *at least* once a week.

Maybe I'm just klutzy.

not just klutzy.....

a clumsy f*** :)

Actually, I spilled an entire cup of black coffee in my bedroom...But the carpet washer got it out :)

I've gotta say. My carpeting is 8 years old now, and they're really clean :)

And it's a real light color too....

Very important to have a good shampooer! I like the coziness of carpet, but hardwood floors are also so easy to clean.

Water heater spliced!

ah - was it a Fook fix? ;)

[Fook Fix - run garden hose / water hose throughout the house, drilling hole in ceiling/floor to accommodate]
