Maybe it is blocking things? Are your in laws willing to pay for surgery or whatever else they may need to do?

My dog seems a little better than she was a few days ago after upping the pain killers, etc. She still isn't exactly perky.

I'm not too perky when on pain killers either.

I hope your dog springs around.

Currently I have my brother and sister in law's dog at the house while they take a vacation. What a spoiled puppy! He's learning a few better manners while at my place already. Partly by me, and partly by the alpha dog in the house. Like he doesn't like it when a couple hug, he tries to force his way in between and apparently even issue a few a soft nips. When he tried forcing his way between my wife and I, alpha dog Missy gave him a good talking to and he quickly backed down

If the @#$%!#%& in laws are not willingly to pay for dog surgery, I would ask the rescue shelters for help. :ranting:

:yes::yes: I'd switch that to rescue groups though, its hard to find no kill shelters. Some groups specialize in dogs that are not getting the care they need to survive.

I am glad your dog seems a bit better...I would expect her to be perky though for sure.

And yes they will have to pay for the surgery...they cannot let her be like this. Dad in law is worried...he messaged to ask how she is and to keep an eye on her...so he wouldn't let her suffer for sure...just waiting on that equipment or whatever it is.

I'm not too perky when on pain killers either.

the pom pom does that to me lol....she barks when I pet another dog or play with the little girl....or try to pick up any other dog she will just jump up on me whether I want her to or not lol

I hope they take her in and it's not to late for her to recover.

Since we are on the dog topic I have a question.

How do I stop a 1yr old dachshund from using my house as his toilet? I'm about to never let him out of the crate.

Ah that's easy! :)

Just keep the sausage dog outside with the rest of the '####### dogs :)
