How's the home front?

Eh - had a huge garden weekend - one of my old buddies dropped my name on a homeowner,

they bought a house with a 50 x 30 commercial greenhouse in the back, and they wanted it removed. I need another greenhouse like I need a hole in my head, but this one is more permanent (mines are designed to be knocked down after spring has sprung) and all was in great condition

so

I got a crew together and we disassembled it, carted it off, and stacked it back at the Farm. I think I spent 1 hour with what's her face this weekend, and I not see any change.

I'll re-assemble it after I'm done with final exams.

As to the home front - I'm not putting any work into that, save for having my gang talk to her gang daily and fill them in on the parts that whats her face was not telling her gang. Chinese have a 'congregation' approach to 'being right' - where one person tells something to 10 to 20 people over a week, and seeks concensus / approval of that opinion.

When that one person not 'tell all', it's very easy to get a group opinion on 'what to do' that is opposite my wants, needs and desires. Then there is more weight behind that one person's opinion, as the congregation method was used.

Regardless, my gang is hard at work, going over all things with what's her face's gang. In the end, her gang will wind up looking foolish, and feel really bad about giving my darling wife advice, and won't attempt it again without me in the room. But, that's in the end. I'm guessing 3 or 4 more weeks of non-violent gang activity, and the next thing you know, what's her face will decide to try small American things for daily habits.

That's the plan, anyway. It could all go south, as well, but to be honest, I would be happy either way, based on the rapidity of the level of foolishness encountered.

I draw penises on the shower doors and on mirrors, but I'm still stuck in my 11 year old phase on account of not really getting to live it out then.

I also drew a couple on my husband while he was sleeping when we first got married, but that got old and he didn't see my humor.

but it's funny because even as a disaster it's still fundamentally cleaner than my sister's or my mother's. Maybe because I don't have a dog that sheds EVERYWHERE? Hubs and I decided on a wiemaraner if we ever get a dog.

(btw the interesting thing about it being cleaner than my mothers... she runs a cleaning business. I think she's so tired of cleaning everyone else's places she just doesn't bother with her own. It's tidy for the most part, but I doubt even she can remember the last time she really "cleaned.")
