OK guys, today me and my fiance are going to mail the petition and the whole packet in. I've got some last minute questions and some of them may sound silly but it's better to be safe than sorry. Would you please help me out and answer these if you know the answers? This would mean so much. This whole thing is exciting but also stressful because it's a long process and kinda expensive and I just hope everything goes well.

1. We've got things from the I 129f form to both of ours g325a forms, intents of wanting to get married, photos, our passport pictures and basically all of that besides screenshots of our chats, are these necessary? I know they prove stuff but instead we've got all the tickets printed out from all the times we've seen each other, and a hotel room receipt, and copies of Cards we have been sending each other. Would you say this is enough proof or are chats and all that better?

2.i know it says for us to mail them copies of everything but when it comes to the forms, so like g325a and i129f can't these be originals? Is it wrong if we send em the actual forms we filled (handwriting) with an actual signatures and all this, instead of just copies of these forms? Is this OK to do? I'm confused. We are sending copies of everything else like printed plane tickets and hotel receipt, cards, and photos - well these are printed out at Walgreens.

3 . should we secure the packet were sending? It case it gets lost

4. We are attaching a form that says that my fiance will be notified if/when the petition gets approved. I've read here recently that they approve (or deny) very quickly? Is there a way to track the process online also?

I think this is it for now. Thank you so much

  1. From what you listed, make sure you also have proof of your US citizenship, copy of BC or all pages of passport. In addition, you will want primary proof of meeting in person within the last 2 years. These would include airline boarding passes (not tickets), passport stamps, receipts (your hotel receipt and any receipts you have will be fine). Photos will also served as secondary evidence of meeting. The airline tickets themselves, along with any itineraries might also serve as secondary evidence of meeting. Proof of relationship is not required for the I-129F petition, although depending on your embassy it may be wise to include it.

All forms need to be the original forms, with original signature. The letters of intent to marry also need to be with an original signature.

Its not necessary to secure the package, but if it makes you feel comfortable then go ahead. My last petition was sent by priority mail, using their large mailer. I didn't add anything extra, just the flat fee for priority mail. If I remember right it had a tracking number to know when it was delivered.

1.Right, we do have my fiances passport copied and his bc copied also. A copy of a bc is good right?

2. I do not have all the boarding passes, just a few of them. Some got lost somewhere and at the time I was flying I didn't think I would need them again. He doesn't have his at all (he visited me in my country two times). Each time I'd come to America I'd be on three different planes so three diff boarding passes each time, each way, of which I only have a few boarding passes. So last time I came here, I think I only have one boarding pass from that trip. Do I still send these in? And copies right? If i do send them in the packet, do u think I should put a note on them explaining stuff exactly that these were my boarding passes etc? Let's say I had to go from my country to let's say Germany and from Germany to Chicago and from Chicago to wherever my fiance was picking me up, let's say I only have one boarding pass from this whole trip, what then? What do I explain to them lol

3. I went on this website where u can track the process and progress of the visa, it says that they give u a reference number or something, that u type in and it shows you your progress. How do u get the number, how do they give u one?

I realize some of what I ask and say can be obvious even so I apologize, I just wanna be sure everything is prepared the right way cuz i am literally few hours away from mailing the whole thing. Thank you so much for help and your patience cuz I Def do ask weird questions lol

  1. Yes a copy of the BC is good (front and back).

Include what you have, and yes send only copies. No need to have a note to explain that those are your boarding passes as your name should already be on them. Do you have passport stamps from your entry to the US, or passport stamps from your fiancé's entry to your country? These will work as well too. Just need a copy of the bio page plus the page that has the stamps.

You will receive an notice of action form once your petition has been received. This form (NOA1) will have your receipt number. The receipt number is what you will type in to check your case status.

Yes we made copies of our passports and the stamps and all that.

1. Can you tell me how long, more or less, it takes for them to whether approve or deny our petition? And will they mail us when approved with our case number or something?

2.Also... My fiance could be moving soon, maybe in may or so, he doesn't know when or where exactly but just that he might. I hope that this cannot be a problem? If they will mail him stuff to where he currently lives and then he changes address... I'm sure there's a way, right? There's a way to notify them/update this kinda info, right?

3.just gonna make sure for the last time, stuff like photos of us and screenshots of our conversations are not necessary and are not the main evidence, but things like boarding passes, hotel receipts and/or passport stamps are, right? Additional stuff pretty much yes? I just wish I knew what all to send them so that it benefits us in a way of a shorter process lol.

Thank you so much, you are VERY helpful.
