incomplete names durring dv 2014 registration

Hi to all,

While i initially registered for the DV Lottery 2014 i never included all my 4 names rather i included 3 names. Later on when i sent my forms to KCC i included all the 4 names. I just received a my second notification letter and it contains only the 3 names i used to register for the lottery. My question is this: I am automatically disqualified for receiving a visa?

Are you saying that your regular name has 4 parts or that you have used 4 different names during your life

Hard to tell. Some people get disqualified for this and others get some leeway. I think it partly depends on what the usual traditions in your country are. What did you leave out, one of your middle names?

KCC will probably have flagged your file for the name discrepancy so make sure you can explain it at the interview.

I have been using only one name durring my lifte. The problem is that i have 4 names but i only included 3 names of the 4

Well the truth is I gave my information to a cyber cafe for them to register for me. I included all my 4 names there. But when the confirmation letter was being given to me i found only 3 names. Most people in my country only have 3 names printed out in their confirmation papper.

It is the US standard to only have 3 names not more so the form to fill is based on that . You are most likely OK especially since you included it correctly on your forms sent to Kentucky. IF you have copies be sure to bring them to your interview to emphasize that you did give them all 4 names. Where you would be in big trouble would be if you have used several different names and not shown them

I've seen reports of people doing this and being fine. Can't promise you anything. But I've seen before people get confused by the entry form because it looks like you can only enter three names and been granted visas. Hopefully you'll be ok.
