hello!

finished filling online the DS260. i havenot received checklist from NVC inregards the legal documents they are required.

At NVC website they're listed documents do i have to follow all documents?

I petition my parents is this ir5 visa category?

the original documents i was submitted how i can get it back? does they returned it? and how long?

it takes a while to receive the checklist , what most people do here is they research all the documents that they need to submit like you are doing with the NVC websiite and they print out the coversheet with barcode that they receive when they pay the IV fees and they send the sheet with the supporting documents.

There are some documents that do not apply to some like divorce adoption military prison records if any of those dont apply then just simply skip it

yes the IR-5 is for parents of US citizen

if you are referring to the original documents that you submitted for the i130 petition..... unfortunately those are gone and you will not get those back.... you were suppose to send them photocopies of the original documents....

if you are referring to the original documents that you will submit to the NVC then your parents can get those back at the US embassy when they conduct there interview provided that US embassy has photocopies of those original documents.
