I got an email that the petition CR1 was approved at USCIS last January 18,2014. Then email again that it was shiffted to NVC last January 28,2014. Up until now we are not receiving any updates. I'm from the Philippines, my husband is in California.

I called the NVC last March 5,2014 and they said still not receiving the petition from USCIS

Was your petition approved by the USCIS and did you receive your NOA2? I'm confused what your asking...sorry. It seems your saying that your petition was approved January 18th and you received an email that your petition was received. Is this correct? From what I've heard from the time they receive your petition till they complete your petition varys. After receiving your petition, wait 30 days. If after 30 days, if you haven't received anything, you should call them.

You should call USCIS and ask to speak to Tir2 and tell them NVC did not recieved your case, it should only take 6weeks from the NOA2 date, you are 8 weeks already,,,call them (USCIS)

This might be a case to case basis wait time due to a lot of approvals flooding the NVC recently specially in Philippines because of Yolanda and earthquake victims. We got our NOA2 Dec. 12, 2013 and NVC issued us MCN last Jan. 11, 2014 so it was less than 30 business days for us. I believe they will receive your case soon. Was your case expedited? It seems that their priority are the expedited cases and it will also be based on what month you filed the petition.

I think it was not expedite.. ? it will be 2mos, and I'm calling the NVC and they said they haven't received the petition. In any case can we still put it to expedite?

Yes, as long as your place was affected with Yolanda or earthquake or you have any health issues to expedite and you can request to expedite when NVC receives your case.
