After the DS-260 submission, Do I need to submit the original documents to NVC? Please advice. I get a little confused when I read the instructions

Its a flow of things you pay bill you fill out DS-260 once you pay bill you are free to send in your documents. A certified copy is the actual copy of the original given to you by the place that issued it. No other will do photocopy no nothing.

So if you paid your IV bill (The $230) you are free to send in your documents. Do not forget the barcoded cover sheet.

I am at this point right now. I just submitted the DS-260 I think Monday. I am waiting for my husband's birth certificate so I will send in the supporting docs soon. I have not been sent anything saying to send them in. I also called today and she told me all my forms were in review and that she couldn't help me.

Most people do not wait for a letter/email. If you got everything just send it off with the barcode sheet.

Darnel, the question asked about NVC stage. I got rfc requesting originals. I had to have my wife FedEx me original birth certificate and NBI

and yes I sent originals too for I-130, just to be safe
