Employment Status on K1 Interview

My fiancee is thinking about resigning her job but she is worried that being unemployed will have a negative effect during her interview. Is this really the case? I don't think so since K1 Visa is about her coming to the US permenantly.

Not an issue if beneficiary is unemployed while K1 visa is processing at US consulate.

They never asked about my current employment during the process.

Thought it could be an issue to travel to the us in the meantime if you want to meet each other... but I visited 3 times and they never checked ties to my home country.

Thanks! Visiting the US is not an issue since it's hard to get a tourist visa in the Philippines anyways hehe

Her employment will not be an issued as it is not listed on most documents nor is it considered a factor in the finances that, you as the sponsor, must demonstrate to the consul that you are capable to support her above the poverty level.

Green Card Approved July 11, 2014 Approved, no interview. Went to card production.

Green Card received July 17, 2014 GC received without interview
