9 days and counting...since I applied for SSN. How long did you get yours? Is there a way to know when you're getting it? Thanks!

My wife went back 2 days after applying, and got the number from the clerk.

The card arrived 8 calendar days after applying.

Need the number?

However, for you, specifically, adjusting status from 'not a k-1 visa'

SSA will do the DHS Verification bits, even though you showed the EAD card,

as

I'm thinking the SAVE database had yet to update on you, when you went in to apply for the SSN.

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
