It just means that your petition is in the system and they've assigned an ARN to your case. The thing to look out for will be your NOA2. That means it actually has been approved.

Do not worry about that one. It's just a step USCIS takes. Some people say ohhhh you should be approved within days but in my case I received that on Nov 4th ,2013 and wasnt approved till March 14th,2014. No one knows exactly what does that mean but in any case be patient and wait.

Thanks,

No It does not mean they have been approved. I dont know where you got these information from but when they are approved. the messages says " We have sent you a notice that your I129 has been approved"

The poster that you are quoting is intending to say that the NOA2 means the petition was approved.

Changing of the ARN means nothing really, in the past it usually meant you would be approved soon. Now it is just a normal step they take when they receive your petition, Diana's ARN was changed 11/27/13 and we still are waiting for the NOA2. Good luck.

Yep I mean to say that your petition has been approved, not your application.

The Alien Registration Number changing is nothing more than a normal processing procedure. Nothing to do with you being approved soon. Everybody receives this message in the initial petition stage
