On April 23, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Update to my case.. It's still a little confusing but seems to be heading in the right direction. On April 22 I got an email saying again our case has been approved and another email on the 30th saying the approved or reaffirmed case was sent to the NVC. I haven't received any hard mail yet in regards to the new approval so I'm still unsure what stage of the NVC process. Whether my original date of April 4th (date on the original NOA2) is the date I should go by or the new date of the 22nd.. I'm happy to be through it either way but it would be nice to know which date so we can judge when we should receive correspondence. Sunday will be 30 days from the original date so I plan to call Monday in hopes to find out.

Just to encourage all of us TSC filers. USCIS has just updated the filing to Sept. 30, 2013 from Aug. 12, 2013. In one month they have completed 6 weeks and 4 days worth. Yayaya let's keep it going at that speed {go TSC you can do it}, maybe even increase it at the end of May by 2 weeks. And processing times went from 6.4 to 6 months. Whoohoo

GarielaY.....I am so hoping that we will if not before, even better. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they will be doing double the work. They posted that they were trying to get 5 months processing time. I am wanting my husband here by at least Nov. Let's keep praying that when they update the system in June they will have gone through Oct. and Nov 2013.

Keep in mind that after you receive the NOA2, it is still a few months, 2-4 months from what I have seen, to get through the NVC portion of the process.

I was one of the lucky ones and got my NOA2 in 18 days but that is not the norm. It has more to do with them expiditing cases where there was great tragedy. Suh as the typhoon in the Philippines. 6-8 months seems to be where they are now for NOA2 approval. So you should plan for a minimum 8 (min 6 months for NOA2 + min 2 months NVC) months before your husband is here, but also be prepared to wait over a year for the entire process.

Hang in there, the wait will be worth it.

Happy you to get your NOA2 in just 18 days! It feels horrible for my husband and I. I think one of the strongest affidavits of support are his flights back and forth Romania. He did already two trips to Romania to see each other this year and it will continue this way. We keep traveling around the world just to see each other. By what I keep reading I was thinking the whole process to be over by September - October. I guess every case is unique.

Nothing wrong with imagining a lucky, 6-month process because it does happen sometimes...but we've got to be ready to go the distance too.

Hang in there! I'm starting my new job in the States next week, and it will be harder to visit my wife and little boy in France. Sucks, sucks, sucks...but one day this period of separation will just be a tiny blip on our family history, and our son probably won't even remember when he was two and his daddy wasn't there for XX months...

Hi everyone!

My priority date is march 22, our atty sent out the package the 19, got an email same dayy and hard copy 4 days after that, we are going to be process at the texas service center.

Im going to tell you a little bit about my story, its funny how I feel connect to everyone.

After 2 years of long distance we got married on feb 22 2014 in Mexico. In the states in late November, we didnt start the paper work back then beause our weddng day with family and all was in feb. I travel back annd forward 4 times after nov. With no problem.

After our big day we were going back to Phoenix to start our life and for our honeymoon, at the brder they asked me why I was goig to the sttates I told them the true and they detainedd me for 12 hours like a criminal, for no reason, the guy was in a bad mood, they cancel my tourist visa and im here back home. I have no bad records in america I studied a year abroad there and money is nt and issue at all, why it has to take so freaking long I feel helpless. My hubby and I are 20 hours away driving so each month I hit the rOad to see him. Just prayng this wll be over soon god bless u guys

Thank you so much for the reminder. I am fully aware of the length of each process in terms of months. I have friends that have been through this and I am conversant with them. But the time frame that I am speaking of has absolutely nothing to do with the power of man..I serve a God that is able to speed things along and all I have to do is ask, claim, believe, and it is done! I am a living testimony to what he can do when man says otherwise. But thank you again for your encouraging words.

GabrielaY, yes every case is different no two are the same...Just remember money is the key. If you have it at the time that things start moving and you are articulate in putting together your paperwork then things will move. After the NOA-2 things happen fast...be ready! Read up now on the next step to be ready to speed things along.
