I got the NOA1 email with the receipt number, my case is transfered to Nebraska Service Center, but case status on uscis doesn't show anything. When does it starts showing on uscis? I hope everything goes smooth :) Really excited! but yeah it's gonna be a looooong wait ;/ Good Luck to everybody here.

Did you receive anything since March 27? Mine is also March 27 and nothing else ever since…..:((

Just a quick update in case youre in the same situation. Our priority date is March25 and is being processed at VSC. Going on 9months and still waiting for NOA2. Submitted 2 service requests online and the only response we get is that they are still doing security background checks. I emailed my state senator and hoping there will be news soon, so frustrating...

Hang in there! We just got our NOA2 yesterday, for some of us it's taking forever, for no clear reason. We submitted a case status request and got the approval within 3 days.

Best, m

Hey, I'm March 27th filer. I'm waiting as well ;/ It'll be 9 months this month!!!!! Really frustrating and to be honest, it's really disheartening as I've only spent 4 months with my spouse when I got married and this whole 2014 I've been away from her. We facetime and text each other but sometimes that helpless feeling sprouts up as you can't do anything other than wait wait wait... I had contacted my Illinois Senator and told to wait 90 days, I will be contacting my senator this month. Hopefully something happens

Nope, I did contact my senator at 6 months, was told to wait 90 days. I will contact them again to inquire. This month it'll be 9 months :(, I did another service request last week, and again got the same reply that background checks are not complete. I don't know what kind of background check they're trying to do. Anyway it's tough, very tough! I was expecting this whole process to be done by February but now it seems it'll complete by summer and that's if they don't pull anything like this for future processes.

Hey! same here as well. I've done 3 service requests since it passed 6 months and for all of them I got same reply, pending background checks. i even contacted my senator as well, and they got the same reply and I was told to wait 90 days. It'll be 9 months at the end of this month and I will be contacting senator's office to do another follow up later this month. And I think these online service request are no help. and yes VERY frustrating! :(

I called too. Today is day 57. I called to see if Thanksgiving would delay our processing.

She paused when I asked and she said "hold on, let me look at your case" (which NEVER happens) and then she was about to say something but then stopped. She continued "Your petition will be processed shortly" I asked if today and she said "Possibly but we do stay within the 60 days"

I'm nauseous now. Daaammmmmmm!!!!!!!! If I get a checklist I'm going to die. My anxiety is through the roof. Faen!!!
