I want to know if it's mandatory to go with my husband to the interview??? He is in the Dominican Republic

Im not sure about your embassy, in mexico they did not even let me through the door lol only the beneficiery

Well i think i read on the nvc website at the faq that onky the applicant who will enter the enterview.. No one else with him..

April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

how can i know my scan dates? Call NVC

another thing; does the states of "Affidavit of Support Documents and Civil Documents" at ceas website change from "N/A" ? and change to what? AOS changes from PAID to N/A civil docs makes no changes.

I just called NVC to get an update. AOS Sep 26th, IV Oct 9th. I got the same old same old, not reviewed....towards the end of the call though the agent said umm..."give it another week"....which really caught my attention bc they never before gave me a time expectation. Just wanted to share. Hopefully soon.

I called too. Today is day 57. I called to see if Thanksgiving would delay our processing.

She paused when I asked and she said "hold on, let me look at your case" (which NEVER happens) and then she was about to say something but then stopped. She continued "Your petition will be processed shortly" I asked if today and she said "Possibly but we do stay within the 60 days"

I'm nauseous now. Daaammmmmmm!!!!!!!! If I get a checklist I'm going to die. My anxiety is through the roof. Faen!!!

Yes, your sounds exactly like mine. Very unusual, and the agent did say the same thing, let me look at it and then paused and said give it another week so I am sure there was something he read on there but could not disclose.

I just wanted to take a minute to encourage everyone, continue to pray and trust in God. He has already determined a perfect time, so if it is not what you initially planned, be grateful and appreciative as he has determined a better time for you. He knows everything, I have been so bummed because I had planned for a year to be in Boston by mid December...I mean it still can happen and I believe it will. But I went out for a walk the other day and just started thanking God. I am grateful for my family, and for being healthy and thats the most important. God is in control of everything else, so dont get discouraged if the dates dont match your plans. I know a lot of you have family and kids waiting for you and separation must be awful but again, be grateful and thank God because his will is perfect, not ours. He has a perfect time.
