I just called NVC and I now have a case number!!! They just assigned it today!! Exactly 2 weeks! They told me 42 days, I am soooooo relieved!!! I know some of you had your case received a few days around mine, so I wanted to be sure to update. WooooHoooo!!! :dancing::dancing: oh and my case was received oct 2nd. Tavotevi I hope you are calling them now! you could have yours too!

We got approved today.

For all of you guys waiting for approvals, there's something positive behind every delay. Hang in there.

So now do I wait for a week then call NVC?

How long is the NVC process taking these days?

Congrats!! The hardest part is over! Honestly nvc is taking about 6 weeks to receive and assign a case # , hang in there!

130 PD: 3/31/14

129F PD: 4/25/14

Then beneficiary can move to States at once, and complete rest of action there.

Around a month back, u told that u had called NVC and they told that they will cancel your I-129. Still they gave a case number. That's a great news!

How long is the NVC process taking these days?

Mine took 5 weeks to be recieved by NVC and two weeks to get a case number. Check out the NVC October thread and Saylin's wiki on the NVC process and definitely start getting your documents ready if you haven't already. I waited about a week to call and called once a week there after. Congrats on your approval!

They told me my 129 was cancelled. Its all good tho, we'll get there. Im so happy yours is gonna get through this way, I know how excited you must be! Im looking forward to hearing about your progress!

So since my case was received a day after yours I just called NVC hoping for a case number too! No case number yet :cry:!

Did u also receive an email with the case number?

Keep calling, yours could be any day.. I honestly didn't expect to get case number when I called. I was really surprised. I didn't get any emails. They said they had just assigned it. Now im scrambling to put all my papers in order so I will be ready to ship them as soon as the fees are paid.

I'm calling and it's busy ?

Keep trying, I know its a pain, but just hang up at busy signal and immediately call again. Repeatedly until you get through. Expect to wait on hold for quite awhile. I once called 20 times to get through and waiting an hour and a half.
