My priority date is 3/17/14..I called yesterday and was told Nebraska is a little behind but they are still in the normal processing time. I was told to call back in a few weeks if I don't hear anything. Also, I was told that everyone case is different so thats why so cases are process quicker then others.

Hello. I am new to this forum. I am a US Citizen and I have filed a I-130 for my Jamaican Spouse...I filed on 03/14/14 and received my NOA1 on 3/18/14. I haven't gotten my approval as yet. The timeframe for the Nebraska service center states 5 months. I have since called and received a service request number. Can anyone help me understand what might be going on at this point? Thank you. :)

I wouldn't worry too much just yet since you are just 2 days over the 5 months from your NOA1. The 5 months is just a guideline not a firm exact timeframe. Just an estimate. Every case is different. The service request can take 15 days to hear anything back from. My guess is you'll get your approval before you hear back on the service request.

Hello everyone, so I have an update on my case. I received the IV and AOS fee invoices from the NVC...well they were actually electronically sent to my attorney and he forwarded to me. He instructed me to pay online but when I tried to login with my NVC case number and invoice ID I got the following error.

This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately.
I did some research and it seems that what causes this is that its too recent. I will give it a couple of days and try again.
So excited, I was expecting a huge delay with NVC as per recent posts on here but God is so good and his timing is so perfect. I was approved by CSC on July 31st, so its been 20 days since my NVC case number. Things are moving forward and I am so excited.
Anyone?
