Hey guys, no Christmas in the US for me this year. Just called NVC and finally got an update, they are ready to send me a checklist as there are corrections to be made on the AOS. I have to say I kind of expected the AOS to be a problem, my husband was the sponsor and he works here in Spain, he submitted those earnings as per our attorney´s advise. I never agreed with that, we had a stable sponsor in the US but our attorney said my husband alone was fine. So just wanted to share, I am really bummed but thank God because his time and will is perfect not mine. At this time I have decided to wait until May regardless of when I get my visa, because on May 7th itll be 2 years since our marriage and I rather arrive after that date and have no conditions on my residence.

Oh well, good luck everyone! God is good, he is in control.

I have a question probably one of you can help why is it when I go into the ceac page and press where it says PAID it logs me out the page I'm really lost in this process I don't know how or where should I go to track my case,Right now I'm on the 60 days waiting period and it's really frustrating when you have no idea as to what you have to do

My advice is thats.. If u already submitted ur documents and they sent u the 60 days email.. Is to relax for those 2 months.. Do nothing.. Enjoy it smoothly and pray for bo checklist.. Don't stress urself.

Good luck

checklist for me too!

Unlike Dave87 I don't have a lawyer to blame (and YES you should be furious with him/her!!), just myself:

In Part 5. Sponsor's Household Size, please correct the following... [x] Item 2. You must enter (1) for yourself in this field.

Although it's a stupid, tiny little mistake that doesn't affect the integrity of the document and there's no good reason to ruin the lives of three people for 60 more days over it, it is nonetheless a mistake.

@)$(&%.

Just one question for you all from a very depressed person: when you get a checklist asking for a new i-864, do you have to submit all the other AOS docs along with it, or just the form itself?

Hi,

You don't be disheartened. I am going through a similar phase. You don't need to send any documents along with the updated i-864 unless stated in the checklist email from NVC. But , make sure that you check the checkbox which states if you have attached the transcripts with the I-864. DO NOT leave it blank of unchecked.

They will replace you earlier I-864 with the updated one. Make sure you fill this new form with the required changes and everything else should be the same as the particulars filled in the the earlier I-864.

Also, a small piece of advice will be to call NVC and confirm that there is nothing else missing in the packet or nothing else needs to be corrected and sent. Once confirmed, send the updated I-864 with the case number written on it along with the bar coded cover sheet that you sent the last time.

Good luck!!

I had same problem and realized later that I have to login through a different portal for the payments. You should use https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx

Hope it helps. Good luck!
