Have the March i-130's been approved? That way we know if it really is a 5 month wait time for us that have filed after March. Thanks. Stay strong everyone, I know its hard.

September 2007: Met online via social networking site (MySpace); began exchanging messages.
March 26, 2009: We become a couple!
September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!
June 21, 2010: Engaged!!!
September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

My PD is March 14, 2014 i guess i should join here. Got NOA1 and notify that our journey will go to Nebraska service center hope everything goes well and smooth for all of us! Keep on praying. Godbles

They are starting to get approved! Looks like they are on top of it, keep them coming...im 3/31! Look for the 2014 i130 filers

We were approved on July 24th. I was told that the 5 month processing time was only an estimate not exact. Approvals are coming in....

Hi Guys,

Can you please share the contact no where I can call and check the status? We have been waiting for 5 months and 1 day since we got NOA1(PD 13th March,2014) and I saw a few march 13,2014 approvals which has shot my anxiety further. Just want to keep my blood pressure in control ;)

Its on your NOA1 notice.

My PD is March 5th and I am still waiting for approval. I called yesterday and texas was working on Feb 25 so one more week and I can file a service request if not approved.

Depending on your service center, the date might be different.

Is there any way to find out which date is being processed by which service centre? Mine is Nebraska and I got to know about some approvals for Mar 13,2014 through Nebraska, hence, I was getting curious to know.

Call them and they will tell you which date your center is working on.

The last i heard here was a few days ago..nebraska was on march 16, if you call please update us! Im anxious.. Im 3/31... But any good news will be appreciated

I called USCIS on Tuesday, they refused to give me what day NSC was working on. I wasn't sure who/where to call.

Petitioner: U.S. Citizen living in U.S. Beneficiary: Egyptian Citizen living in Egypt Seychelles United States!

Visa type: CR-1

01-06-14 Married

03-21-14 Priority Date (Nebraska Service Center)

03-25-14 NOA1

08-26-14 Approved! 5 months, 5 days

09-04-14 shipped to NVC per USCIS website

10-09-14 NVC "received"

10-28-14 Case #

10-30-14 DS261/AOS fee

12-02-14 IV fee

12-03-14 Sent Package

01-30-15 Case Complete! 5 months at NVC with no checklists

03-25-15 Received Interview Letter, date is 05/14/15

05-14-15 Interview Result: APPROVED!

06-08-15 25 days later...CEAC finally shows READY

06-11-15 Visa in Hand

06-15-15 POE in Philadelphia

Total Time from Sending Petition to Visa in Hand: 14 months, 3 weeks
