What is the date of the update that says your case was transferred to CSC? That is the date I would use as the Transfer Date. Normally the update tells you something like "On xx/xx/xx we transferred the case to our CSC..."

If it doesnt tell u exactly what date it was transferred then use the date you got this update on. Make sure you notify us in the CSC Transferees List.

The AOS process is completely separate from the K-1 process, and VSC doesn't touch anyone's case at this stage of the game. Transfer to CSC is based on your local office; it's generally accepted that local offices with backlogs transfer more straightforward cases to CSC. Of course, much of what any of us can do is speculate.

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.

VSC is still our jurisdiction, so it will probably stay there since I can't think of many AOS processes going on in San Juan. :P

ridley,

Cases are transferred to the CSC by the NBC, not by local District and Sub offices. On the basis of whether the NBC thinks that the case is approvable without an interview.

Yes, this was my understanding, as well. I didn't mean to imply that the local offices themselves transferred the cases, though I did say that. I meant that the transfer (by NBC) of cases to CSC seems to be related to the caseload at the local offices to which they would otherwise have been sent. :)
