Is it just me or is every site I can find listing the NBC processing times incorrect? I have a I130 receipt from Mid May 2013 and every site listed they should be processing from July to August but when I called two weeks back they said they are processing the April receipts. Sounds like I just need to keep waiting patiently.

I also filed a K-3/I-29F for my wife which should have had a processing time of 5 months but it seems like they just don't process those, which leads me to the question, what is the point of offering them anymore?

Cheers

My K3 is being processed at the moment. It's true that they have become almost obselete but of late, because of the backlog in 130s ,I think, they are being processed again. I also have the 130 still in NVC waiting for case no. but 129 is in embassy already. Just waiting for my medical, next week, then hopefully interview soon after.

the I-129F part of the K3 will always be processed. It depends when it reaches the NVC if you get to go forward or not. I am VERY surprised that NoelAnne's I-129F was forwarded on, but they must have opened that package before the other one.

NBC has Posted the new dates on March/18/2014

For I-130, they are processing upto I guess July/16/2013 ("Field Office Processing Dates for National Benefits Center as of: January 31, 2014")

My PD is August/2013 and it has been transferred to the TSC from MSC (NBC), My I-129F (K-3) and I-130 are now joined at TSC. I called them yesterday using my I-129F Petition # and asked about the I-130 question in addition to my I-129F Questions. They have different kind of checks that are causing a hold as they are waiting for the response from the department. Mine is on hold due to Bona-Fide Marriage Department Approval. The other checks are already complete.

I would recommend to call USICS using your I-129F petition No and request the rep that your timeline is outside the six month timeline and you would like to speak to the tier 2 Immigration Officer (IO). If you call them using your I-130, they will not transfer to the IO (Tier 2).

I have found NBC the slowest of all.

Best of Luck and keep us posted on your progress.

My application for K3 visa was also just sent to the US Consulate in Vancouver for processing. My I-130 was filed April 2013 and the I-129 immediately after. My I-130 is still at NVC waiting for a number. I am waiting for my packet 4 from the consulate.

We put in numerous service requests for the I-129F - with our Congressman (great staff), Senator (never returned our call) and direct calls to USCIS customer service centre (because they did keep posting 5 month processing times for K3s). While they were all very polite they did say that we would never be issued a K3 so imagine our surprise when we got the letter in the mail. I'm hoping it proceeds so I can be in the US for my daughter's prom. For the first time in her life I missed her birthday. Would love to see her compete at State. So sad to be missing all these important times in my child's life.
